Face Makeup: Face Cosmetics Makeup & Everything You Wanted To Know
Most girls love makeup. Sometimes, though, makeup may not be very kind to us. Face cosmetics and makeup can sometimes contain ingredients that can irritate your skin and even cause allergic reactions. If you notice that your skin is breaking out along the jaw line it usually means that you are allergic. For other allergic reactions to face beauty cosmetics, look for symptoms such as swelling, itching, redness and burning. You may have to try several brands of makeup before you find one that works. If you purchase a makeup and discover that you are allergic to it, most companies that make eyes, lips and face cosmetics will allow you to return the product to the retailer. You may call your retailer to find out if that is their policy.
Before you apply your face cosmetics makeup, you should begin with a clean canvas. Cleanse your face and exfoliate if you like. This will give your makeup a nice surface. Apply some moisturizer to protect your skin. Select one that has an SPF of at least 15. You need to take care of your skin so that your makeup will look good. When it comes to your face, beauty cosmetics are just not enough. Maintain a healthy diet with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and drink lots of water.
When you are selecting your eyes lips face cosmetics, keep your skin tone in mind. You want to select shades that are as close to your skin tone as possible. This is particularly true with it comes to face cosmetics. Makeup should look natural and enhance your own beauty. You should wear your makeup. Your makeup should not wear you. You don't want people to see your makeup; they should see your face. Beauty cosmetics such as blush, eye shadow and lip tint should have a somewhat natural look. Even more dramatic eyes, lips and face cosmetics should at least compliment your skin tone and hair color.
Keep your application light and natural. If possible, open a window and apply your makeup in the light of the sun. If you can not do that, at least slip outside with a mirror to check your makeup. Sun light is the most telling light. It reveals any streaks or imperfections. You should also remember that florescent lighting brings out the redness in skin tones. If you use a green corrector before you apply your foundation to the red or ruddy areas on the skin, it will decrease the appearance of them.
Makeup can be a wonderful boost to your appearance, but that should be what it does, boost and enhance what you already have. Use a light hand and apply in light layers. Don't be afraid to use a dusting of powder now and then throughout the day to set your makeup and freshen it. So, take care of your skin, cleanse, moisturize and maintain a sensible diet and your skin will thank you by making your makeup look even better.
